Rev. Robert Eckel Sellers, age 83, died Thursday, January 19, 2017 in his home.  Born March 26, 1933 in Wise County, VA, he was the son of the late Sarah Catherine Sellers and the widower of Rena Bell Soles Sellers.

He is survived by four daughters: Betty Jo Sellers of Whiteville, Shirley Jane Looper of Tabor City, Joan Elaine Strickland of Tabor City, Gloria Jean Evans of Tabor City; one son: Anthony Gene Gray of Elizabethtown, PA; nine grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 4 PM in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.
