Chadbourn, NC

Mrs. Myrtie Marie Williams, age 90, of Hinson Rd., Chadbourn, died Thursday, January 19, 2017 in her home.  Born September 24, 1926 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Blanche Lee Fipps McPherson. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands: Troy Cartrette and Henry James Williams; daughter: Carol Boutwell; grandson: Craig Harrelson; step son: Myron Williams; five brothers: Charlie, Troy, Coy, Clarence, and Melvin Junior McPherson; three sisters: Lettie Patterson, Madge McPherson, Sally Hinson.

She is survived by one step son: Ricky Williams of Yanceyville; and one great grandson: Caleb Harrelson of Lumberton.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 3 PM in the Beaverdam Original Freewill Baptist Church, Chadbourn.  Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City. 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church.
