Mitchell D. Ward has been part of the Inman Ward Funeral Home family since 1995 and the owner since 2008. Mitchell is married to Kim Soles Ward and they have five children Koven Ward, Alexis Ward, Kane Lainer, Riley Lanier and Olivia Lanier. He and his family attend Western Prong Baptist Church in Whiteville. Mitchell is a Master Mason with Lebanon Lodge 207 and a Shriner with the Columbus County Shrine Club.
Mitchell is a 1993 graduate of Green Sea-Floyd High School and graduated from Fayetteville Technical Community College with his Associates of Applied Science in Funeral Service Education. He has been a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer since 1995 and is also licensed in South Carolina.

Donny A. Jernigan has been part of the Inman Ward Funeral Home Family since 2016. Donny was raised in Evergreen, NC. He is a member of Beaverdam Original Free Will Baptist Church in Chadbourn. He raises registered boer goats and is the owner of Jernigan Farms of Whiteville.
Donny is a 2009 graduate of West Columbus High School. He graduated from Fayetteville Technical Community College from the Funeral Director Program and graduated with his Associate of Applied Science in Funeral Service Education in May 2020. He is a licensed North Carolina Funeral Director.
