William "Chip" Cyril O'Driscoll III

William Cyril "Chip" O'Driscoll passed away peacefully on May 29, 2023 in Loris SC.  He was born in Charleston SC on January 10, 1948 to William Cyril O'Driscoll Jr. & Cleo Cole O'Driscoll.  He graduated from Murray Vo-Tech high school & studied art at Atlanta College of Art.  Chip & his family lived in Atlanta many years. He lived on Folly Beach SC & Green Sea SC for the last few years.

He is survived by his grandson Daniel James O'Driscoll who lives in TN as well as his granddaughter & her husband, Sharon & Hunter Wise and his three great grandchildren Cooper, Conner & Carsleigh Wise of Gaffney SC. In addition to his sister Delia O. Armand in the New Orleans area & his half-sister Connie K. Wallace of Phoenix AZ, he is survived by many relatives in his wife's family. 

Chip was predeceased by his younger brother Clovis, his wife Molly Malone O'Driscoll, his son & daughter-in-law William Cyril "Skip" & Michelle Wunder O'Driscoll IV.

Chip was known for his extensive knowledge of cars of all types and his artistic skills. "Back in the day", he painted advertisements free-hand on billboards 100 feet off the ground!  Chip had a dry sense of humor and an amazing memory.  He will be deeply missed by his family & friends. 

He will be interred in Holy Cross Cemetery in Charleston, next to his wife & family members.
