William Benjamin “Bill” Caines, age 74 of Tabor City, NC, died Friday, March 12, 2021 in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCare Center, Whiteville, NC. Born December 29, 1946 in Loris, SC, he was the son of the late Orian Olene Caines and Virginia Cartrette Caines.

He is survived by his wife Rose James Caines of Winston Salem; one son: Rev. Jimmy W. Caines and wife Tansy of Evergreen, NC; one daughter: Marie Caines Sellers and husband Billy of Tabor City, NC; one step daughter: Michelle McKeithan of Tabor City, NC; three brothers: Jerry Caines of Tabor City, NC, Dexter Caines of Pauline, SC, Dean Caines of Goldsboro, NC; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son: Timmy B. Caines; and two brothers: Spencer Caines and Sammy Caines.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
