Sylvia Meyer Obituary
Sylvia C. Meyer, 72, wife of Roger Meyer, passed away Saturday, February 12 at home. She was born December 19, 1949 in Laurens, SC, daughter of Rudolph and Ruby (Lyons) Cooper.
She was a graduate of Winthrop University, and was a school teacher for 32 years.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Roger Meyer of Conway; two sons, Roger Eric Meyer (Stephanie) from Conway, and Kevin Meyer (Jennifer) from New Jersey; three grandchildren, Caroline, Cooper, and Lauren; and one brother, Rudolph Cooper, Jr. (Kathy) from Lexington, SC.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Sandy Plain Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Scott Enzor and Rev. Jimmy Caines officiating. The family will have visitation following the service.
