Silbray Fisher, age 80, of Tabor City, NC, died Monday, January 20, 2020 in the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center. Born August 18, 1939 in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Bert Nobles and Ovaline Allen Nobles and the widow of William Rudolph “Billy” Fisher.
She is survived by two sons: Jonathan Rex Fisher of Nichols, SC and Barry Glenn Tompkins of Whiteville, NC; one daughter: Rhonda Rae Caines of Tabor City, NC; one brother: Laverne Nobles of Chadbourn, NC; two special grandchildren: Christopher Lee Fisher and Natasha Gore Nail; five other grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son: Eugene Tompkins; three brothers: Billy Nobles, Bobby Nobles and Earl Nobles.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 2 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
