Shirley Ann Gore, age 76, of Nakina, NC, died Thursday, August 27, 2020. Born September 5, 1943 in Horry County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Owen Gore and Maggie Piggot Gore.
She is survived by her husband Edward Perry of the home; two sons: Danny Thompson and wife Gay of the Beaverdam Community and Sammy Thompson and wife Kim of Nakina, NC; three daughters: Annetta Cartrette of Loris, SC, Sandra Nealey of Tabor City, NC and Sherry Creech of Whiteville, NC; one brother: Robert Gore of Tabor City, NC; one sister: Barbara Gore of Virginia Beach, VA; ten grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son: Richard Leverne Thompson and one daughter: Kathy Lynn Thompson.
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 29, 2020 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, August 30, 2020 at 3:00 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The family will receive family and friends at 1610 Cay Rd., Loris, SC 29569.
