Ruby Lee Hinson Fowler, age 79, of Tabor City, NC died Sunday, June 27, 2021 in her home. Born July 15, 1941 in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Neal and Lizzie Norris Hinson and the widow of Tommie Floyd Fowler.
She is survived by her two daughters: Irene F. Watts of Tabor City, NC and Sylvia Stephens and her husband Delane of Whiteville, NC; one brother: Eldred Hinson of Whiteville, NC; three sisters: Doris McPherson of Clarendon, NC, Brenda Winland of Ashland, OH and Alice Grasty of Taylors, SC and one granddaughter: Courtney “Lovely” R. Fipps and her husband Chad of Tabor City, NC.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother: Neal “Pete” Hinson.
She was a member of Carolina Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 2 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
