Roy Stephen Hunt, age 60, of Mullins, SC, died Friday, January 22, 2021, in MUSC Health in Florence, SC. Born December 10, 1960 in Dillon, SC, he was the son of the late John Oliver "Jack" Hunt and Albert Lane Hunt.

He is survived by his wife Marcia Bailey Hunt of the home; one daughter: Charity Doniel Joye (Jason Lee) of Brundidge, AL; three sons: Pete Monroe Johnson (Brandon) of Jacksonville, NC, Roy Stephen Hunt, Jr. (Anita) of Latta, SC and Jonathan Thomas Hunt of Mullins, SC; one brother: James Hunt of Pomaira, SC; two sisters: Doris Powers (Lonnie) of Mullins, SC and Betty Williamson of Dillon, SC; and eleven grandchildren: Austin Tylor Joye, Gabriel Hunter Joye, Noye Taylor Joye, Asher Bailey Joye, Joshua Isaiah Hunt, Jacob Stephen Hunt, Jordan Daniel Hunt, Roy Stephen Hunt III, Naeem Roberts, Christian Bryant, and Kaleb Mearite.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister: Catherine "Cathy" Hunt Elliott; and one brother: John Lester "Johnny" Hunt.
