Rev. Roger Dale Small, age 76, died Sunday, February 2, 2020 in the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center, Whiteville, NC. Born November 27, 1943 in Horry County, SC, he was the son of the late Ernest Horace Small and Gracie Inez Stanley Small.
He is survived by his wife: Kay Phipps Small of the home; one son: Craig Small and wife Fran of Tabor City, NC; three daughters: Kathryn Small of Tabor City, LeJean Wood and husband William of Conway, SC and Jana Miller of Little River, SC; one brother: Jack Small of Clemons, NC; one sister: Lynda Prince Todd and husband Kim of Clarendon, NC; four grandchildren: Kaylee Miller, Courtney Miller, Justin Davis and Graison Small; and four great grandchildren: Noah Cox, Leah Cox, Drake Williamson and Addie Williamson.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 3 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in the Myrtle Green Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center, 206 Warrior Trail, Whiteville, NC 28472.
