Rebecca "Becky" Gore Troupe

Rebecca “Becky” Gore Troupe, 73, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021 in Fairmont, NC. Born May 21, 1948 in Columbus County, daughter of Rufus King Gore and Ruby Ilene (Ward) Gore.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Dale Troupe of the home; son, Wayne (Sandy) McCumbee of Little River, SC; daughter, Jessica (Matthew) Turbeville Robinson of Tabor City; step-son, Michael (Ben) Troupe of Myrtle Beach; two brothers, Roscoe Gore of New Orleans, LA and Richard (Sarah) Gore of Tabor City; three sisters, Rose Gore Saxton of Matthews, NC, Rita (Donnie) Richardson of Loris, and Roxanne (Alan) Wright of Little River; grandchildren, Tayton and Talon Robinson, Carrington Boyd, Ashlee (Chase) Ray, Bill McCumbee, Jr. and Kris McCumbee; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Ruby Gore, a daughter, Shelley Boyd, a grandson, Kenan Boyd, and a step-daughter, Jill Mills.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at Cherry Grove Baptist Church Cemetery at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 19, 2021. The family will receive friends following the service.
