Pamela (Avant) Hernandez

Pamela Avant Hernandez age 62, died Sunday January 1, 2023 in Columbus Regional Healthcare System, Whiteville, NC. Born June 27, 1960, in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Coy Brice Avant and Kathryn Geneva Williams.

She is survived by her husband, Jose Hernandez of the home; three daughters, Candy Hernandez and husband Isai of Loris, SC, Crystal Mishoe of Tabor City, NC, and Jessica Mishoe of Tabor City, NC; one step daughter, Maria A. Magana of FL; one sister, Linda Diane McPherson of Whiteville, NC; sixteen grandchildren, Dustin (Acie), Joseph, Madeline (Ethan), Malorie, Ryder, Orlando, Galilea, Laykynn, Isaac, Masie, Kannon, Elloree, Hanna, Guillermo, Jesus, and Giselle; and two great grandchildren, Timber and Lakota.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Dewayne Soles and one sister, Wanda Faye Jones.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 7:00pm until 9:00pm in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 2:00pm in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.
