Linda (Pearce) Ward

Linda Pearce Ward, age 83, of Nakina, NC, died Saturday, March 5, 2022 in Lower Cape Fear LifeCare, Whiteville, NC.  Born September 30, 1938 in Robeson County, NC, she was the daughter of the late John Franklin Pearce and Frances Musselwhite Pearce.

Mrs. Ward retired from National Spinning and attended Pireway Primative Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, John Colon Ward of the home; one daughter, Karen Williams and husband Danny of Fayetteville, NC; three grandchildren, Daniel Williams, Amy Powell and husband Joshua, and Holly Ward; two great grandchildren, Annalise Powell and Zelda Powell.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 3 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Ward Cemetery, Mooney Ford Road, Nakina, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 206 Warrior Trail, Whiteville, NC 28472.
