Letha Mae Ray, age 86, died Sunday August 14, 2016 in her home. Born July 22, 1930 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late H. Frank Long and Annie Mae Stanley Long and the widow of William Floyd Ray. She was a member of Forest Lawn Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son: Floyd Dale Ray of Tabor City, NC; two daughters: Barbara Britt (Graham) of Whiteville, NC, Billie Daniels (Darrel) of Tabor City, NC; one brother: Jack Long of Fayetteville, NC; three sisters: Beatrice Smith of Hampton, VA, Sadie Buffkin of Florence, SC, Betty Mills of Fayetteville, NC; Four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Mack Long.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 206 Warrior Trail, Whiteville, NC  28472, or Forest Lawn Baptist Church, 16025 James B White Hwy S, Tabor City, NC 28463.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 11AM, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.
