Junior Soles, age 84, of Chadbourn, NC died Friday, March 12, 2021 in the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center, Whiteville, NC. Born May 11, 1936 in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late Billy and Daisy Duncan Soles.

He is survived by his wife: Pearl Gore Soles of the home; two daughters: Pamela Soles Freeman of Clarkton, NC and Amaryllis Soles (Tim McPherson) of Chadbourn, NC; one son: Danny Ray Soles of Whiteville, NC; two step-sons: Teddy Godwin (Kathy) of Clarendon, NC and Darrell Godwin of Clarendon, NC; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great, great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife: Essie Rae Soles; infant son: Ricky Dean Soles; step-son: Shannon Dale McMillian; great-grandson: Abel Soles; seven brothers: Jackie Soles, Ted Soles, Liston Soles, Luke Soles, Alvie Soles, Talmadge Soles, and David Lee Soles and three sisters: Betty Todd, Rosie Duncan and Gladys Hammonds.

Mr. Junior was a longtime member of Emerson Original Free Will Baptist Church.

A graveside service will be held Monday, March 15, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Columbus Memorial Park, Whiteville, NC.

The family will receive friends following the service in the cemetery.
