Mrs. Judy Williamson Roberts, 76, passed peacefully at home in Wilmington on Tuesday, March 21, 2017. She was born August 8, 1940 in Columbus County to the late Rev. Boyd and Flaudia Williamson. She is survived by her husband, Senior Master Sgt. Lee Roy Roberts, Jr.; two daughters, Kris Stevens and Kim Valade; stepson, Michael Roberts and wife, Trish; and two granddaughters, Savannah and Caroline Valade. She is also survived by an aunt, Sue Williamson of Southern Pines, niece Tina Ann Williams, and two nephews , Joe Neil and Sammy Williamson of Whiteville. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Pete and Jimmy Williamson.

Mrs. Roberts retired from Vision and Time Warner Cable after 28 years. She had fond memories of her many co-workers and long time friendships made during those years. She will be remembered by all for her hugs and fun loving personality which she shared with everyone she met. 

A graveside service will be held Friday, March 24, 2017 at 11 AM in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date in Wilmington, NC to remember the wonderful times that were shared with friends and family.
