Johnny Enson Todd, age 81, of Whiteville, NC, died Sunday, November 29, 2020 in his home.  Born November 2, 1939 in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late Yancey Todd and Roseda Fowler Todd.

He is survived by his wife: Alene Soles Todd of the home; four daughters: Jenny Williams (JR) of Whiteville, NC, Martha Simmons of Whiteville, NC, Lena Cartrette (Joe) of Whiteville, NC and Sherry Nealey of Tabor City, NC; one brother: James Dayton Todd of  High Point, NC; three step children: Martha Faye Tatum of Whiteville, NC, Julius Hayes of Whiteville, NC and Franklin Hayes of Evergreen, NC; ten grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife: Jessie Betty Todd; one son: Johnny Jay Todd; one grandson: Coy Gore; two brothers: Tommy Todd and Clayton Todd; and three sisters: Alene Cribb, Mary Freeman and Eulee Todd.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from 7 PM to 9 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 2 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, social distancing will be observed and all attendees are required to wear a mask.
