John Calvin Cartrette, Jr., age 60, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, died Wednesday, November 17, 2021 in the McLeod Seacoast Hospital, Little River, SC. Born May 9, 1961 in Horry County, SC, he was the son of the late John Calvin Cartrette, Sr. and Joyce Graham Cartrette.
He is survived by his wife, Gwen Buffkin Cartrette of Tabor City; one daughter, Naomi Cartrette of Tabor City; one son, Johnathan Cartrette of Tabor City; one brother: Kendall Cartrette and wife Gina of Tabor City; two sisters: Donna C. Ward and husband Ronald of Tabor City and Debbie C. Rogers and husband Sam of Tabor City; and two grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Friday, November 19, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Sandy Plain Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the cemetery.
