Irma (Walker) Lovett

Irma Walker Lovett, age 87, died Sunday, January 26, 2020 in the Lower Cape Fear Life Care Center in Bolivia, NC.  Born October 15, 1932, in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Rev. B. R. Walker and Lula Mae Tyree Walker and the widow of Aaron Lovett.

She is survived by two daughters: Phyllis Gale Lovett Buffkin and husband Charlie of Ocean Isle Beach, NC and Donna Lovett Bauer and husband Drew of Durham, NC; one son: Marcus Wayne Lovett and wife Cathy of Tabor City, NC; six grandchildren: Amber Renea Howard, Alicia Kay Lovett, Matthew Wayne Lovett,

Andrew Todd Bauer Jr., Faith Bauer Moyer and Christian Paul Bauer; and one great grandson: James Thomas Moore.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be private.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
