George David Lovette, 68, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022, at McLeod Loris Hospital. He was born October 19, 1953, in Loris, a son of the late Cecil D. Lovette and Helen Marie (McCumbee) Lovette.
Survivors include two sons, Cecil Justin Lovette of Pearl, MS and Patrick Lovette of Tabor City; three sisters, Phyllis “Wendy” Norris of Clarendon, Cecil Yvonne “Tootsie” Nobles of Tabor City, and Cheryl Hilburn of Whiteville; and five grandchildren, Skyla, Allison, Taegan, Daniel, and Davey.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, George David Lovette, Jr.; and four brothers, Cecil D. Lovette, Jr., Richard D. Lovette, Jimmy D. Lovette, and Timmy D. Lovette.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, April 21 at Inman Ward Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
