Franklin Delano Tyler, age 79, of Chadbourn, NC, died Monday, January 2, 2023 in the McLeod Loris Hospital. Born July 7, 1943 in Horry County, SC, he was the son of the late Archie Mace Tyler and Mattie Mincey Tyler and the widower of Wanda Sue Sellers Tyler.
He is survived by one daughter, Angie Tyler of Chadbourn, NC; one son, Shane Tyler and wife Linda of Whiteville, NC; five grandchildren, Aaron Tyler, Sabrina Tyler, Shelby Tyler, Dustin Enzor and Brandon Enzor; and four great grandchildren, Jayden Tyler, Caleb Tyler, Colton Tyler and Braylon Tyler.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by eight brothers, Ace Tyler, Homer Tyler, Leroy Tyler, Jim Tyler, Gilbert Tyler and twin brother Winston Tyler, Red Tyler and Larry Tyler; and two sisters, Bernice Tyler and Venie Tyler.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the McPherson Cemetery, Chadbourn, NC.
