Edward Gene Spivey age 72, died Monday, January, 10, 2022 in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice & Life Care Center, Whiteville, NC. Born May 15, 1949, in Columbus County, NC he was the son of Leon Brooks Spivey and Lucille Livingston Spivey.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Edwina Dorman and husband Phillip and Theresa Floyd and husband Denny both of Green Sea, SC.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 13th, 2022 at 2:00 PM in Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Spivey Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in honor of Edward to Iron Hill Baptist Church 22247 Peacock Rd., Tabor City, NC 28463
