Mrs. Edie Hewett Carlile, age 51, of Eisenhower St., Lumberton, died Sunday, April 9, 2017 in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice & Life Care Center in Whiteville.  Born December 29, 1965 in Robeson County, she was the daughter of the late Dian Prince Barnes.

She is survived by her husband: Harlan Carlile of Lumberton; two daughters: Ash-Leigh (Bradley) Stevens of Tabor City; Hilaire (Cameron) Gabriel of Bonaire, GA; four grandchildren: Baylee Gabriel, Madison Gabriel, Paisley Stevens, Riley Gabriel; and two special uncles: Eddie and Frog Prince.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 7 PM to 9 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 3 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the New Horizon Cemetery, Tabor City.
