Donald Ray Buffkin, age 63, of Nichols, SC, died Thursday, June 11, 2020 in Regency Hospital in Florence, SC. Born January 21, 1957 in Marion County, SC, he was the son of Edna Murrow Buffkin Siefert of Florence, SC and the late Johnny Buffkin.
He was a Veteran of the United States Army.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one brother: James Elder Buffkin (Sherry) of Tabor City, NC; and two sisters: Helen Floyd (Ray) of Nichols, SC and Judy Powell (Wendell) of Marion, SC.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister: Shirley Strickland.
A memorial graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Gapway Baptist Church Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic social distancing will be observed and the family has requested that all attendees wear a mask.
