David Major Lee, 69, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Loris Hospital. He was born August 6, 1952 in Loris, a son of the late Major Cornelius Lee and Lillie Ann (Holmes) Lee.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Buffkin Lee of the home; two God children, Kyndall and Noah Buffkin of Tabor City; a brother, Jerry Lee of High Point, NC; four sisters, Sybil Watts of Sophia, NC, Kathy Thompson of Trinity, NC, Gail Lee of Tabor City, and Diane Lee of Tabor City; and a special friend, Matthew “Cowboy” Thomas of Norwood, NC; and a special niece and nephew, Kristy Hincher and Kent Spivey.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Lee.
A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 28, 2022 at Gapway Cemetery in Tabor City. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, January 27 at Inman Ward Funeral Home and Crematory.
