Charles "Tood" Thurston Norris, age 77, of Chadbourn, NC, died Tuesday, February 23, 2021 in his home. Born January 21, 1944 in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late Mack Norris and Bertie Jane Cartrette Norris.
He is survived by his wife: Mary Estalene Long Norris of the home; one son: Danny Norris of Chadbourn, NC; one daughter: Lisa Jane Norris McCants and husband Tim of Andrews, SC; two step-daughters: Donna Rothfuss of Charlotte, NC and Lisa McPherson of Clarendon, NC; one step-son: Kevin Fowler of Whiteville, NC; two grandchildren: Katelyn Mahan of Georgetown, SC and Randall Mahan of Myrtle Beach, SC and one great-grandchild: Emerie Johnson
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son: Randy Charles Norris; one brother: Clifton Norris; and one sister: Bertha “Sis” Hinson.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 26, 2021 at 3:00 PM in the Beaverdam Original Free Will Baptist Church with burial to follow in the McPherson Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church.
