Bob Mack Watts

North Myrtle Beach, SC

Bob Mack Watts age 91, died Wednesday, February 16, 2022 in Womack Army Hospital at Ft Bragg, NC. Born March 30, 1930 in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late Brice H. Watts and Docia Beck Watts.

Bob served his country for 28 years in the U.S. Army 82^nd Airborne where he retired. Before his retirement he served tours in the Korean & Vietnam War    

He was a Master Mason of Ft. Bragg Lodge 667 and a Shriner with Morocco Shriners.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy J. McLean of North Myrtle Beach, SC; one daughter, Debbie Simpson of Ellington, MO; two half-sisters, Jackie Hyatt and Sam Livingston both of Loris, SC; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; step children, Margaret McLean of Fayetteville, NC, Sheila Dean of Parkton, NC, Donna Chinnis of North Myrtle Beach, SC and Harold Leon McLean II of Matthews, NC.  

A graveside memorial service will be held Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 2:00pm in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City, with military honors.
