Bennie Ray Nealey, age 70, of Clarendon, NC, died Thursday, September 9, 2021 in the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center, Whiteville, NC. Born October 7, 1950 in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late Joe Garland Nealey and Clara Lovette Nealey.

He is survived by his wife: Bonnie McDowell Nealey of the home; one daughter: Kelley Nealey Brinson and husband Brent of Clarendon, NC; one brother: Billy Nealey of Tabor City, NC; three sisters: Kathy Cox of Tabor City, NC, Annie Lee Russell of Lake Waccamaw, NC and Betty Smith of Whiteville, NC; three grandchildren: Baylee Brinson, Rylee Brinson and Kourtney Sellers; and one great grandchild: Brileigh Joe.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother: Ronald Nealey.

A private service was held Friday, September 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Wright Cemetery.
