Allie Faye (Nobles) Cartrette

Chadbourn, NC

Allie Faye Cartrette, age 77, died Monday, September 14, 2020 in the Atrium Pineville Medical Center, Pineville, NC.  Born February 17, 1943 in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Nobles and Prudie Soles Nobles and the widow of Dewey Delane Cartrette.

She is survived by six daughters: Donna Ann Cartrette of New Jersey, Geraldine Jackson and husband Stonewall of Mullins, SC, Angelique Gray of Chadbourn, NC, Debra Burnett and husband Raymond of Chadbourn, NC, Jonna Byars and husband Mike of Chadbourn, NC, and Crystal Cain and husband Larry of Chadbourn, NC; one sister: Alice Nobles of Lexington, NC; nineteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters: Cordelia Jones and Jean Cartrette Gray; three sons: Dusty Gray, Pete Gray and Hank Gray; two grandchildren: Paul Gray and Eric Jackson; and four brothers: Tilly Nobles, Burlie Nobles, Cecil Nobles and Buddy Nobles.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 2 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the McPherson Cemetery.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic social distancing will be observed and all attendees are required to wear a mask.
