William Stanley Knauss Jr., age 90, of Myrtle Beach, SC, died Friday, September 6, 2019 in Embrace Hospice Center, Myrtle Beach, SC. Born in Allegheny County, PA, he was the son of the late William Stanley Knauss and Hazel McCutchon Knauss.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by four daughters: Linda Eileen York of Longs, SC, Jo Ann Kruger of Akron, OH, Debra Lee Gilchrest of Aliquippa, PA, and Lori Jane Kirby of Port Richey, FL; and nineteen grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Edna Knauss; two sisters and one grandson.

Services will be held at a later date in Pennsylvania.
