Roy Linwood “Sambo” Buffkin, Sr, age 77, of Green Sea, SC, died Sunday, November 10, 2019 in the McLeod Loris Hospital. He was born May 31, 1942 in Horry County, SC.

He is survived by one son: Roy Linwood Buffkin, Jr. and wife Crystal of Green Sea, SC; one step daughter: Kathryn Lynch of Green Sea, SC; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Peggy Fowler Buffkin; one brother: Jerry Buffkin; and two sisters: Rosa Lee Clark and Betty Jo Buffkin.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at 7 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
