Nancy Alene (Smith) Reaves

Nancy Alene Smith Reaves, age 63, of Tabor City, NC, died Monday, October 21, 2019 in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center in Whiteville, NC.  Born July 17, 1956 in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of Lizzie Mae Watts Smith of Tabor City and the late Hubert Eldridge Smith and the widow of Clyde Milton Reaves.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by one daughter: Jennifer Reaves McPherson and husband Rocky of Clarendon, NC; one sister: Vickie Smith Ward of Tabor City, NC; and one grandchild: Angel McPherson .

In addition to her father and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother: Benny Eugene Smith Sr.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2019 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 11 AM in the  Pireway Free Will Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the Pireway Cemetery.
