Linda Honeycutt Bell, age 65, of Miriam Lane, Tabor City, North Carolina, died Monday, November 19, 2018 at home. She was born September 22, 1953 in Whiteville, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Ruth Adams Honeycutt and the late Jerry Honeycutt.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Cleveland Bell of Tabor City, North Carolina; sons, Bradley Bell (Amber) of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Jeffrey Bell (Beth) of Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina; sisters, Vickie Mattocks (Ricky) of Clinton, North Carolina, Jimi Kay Smith (Doug) of Whiteville, North Carolina; brothers, Jerome Honeycutt (Elaine) of Chadbourn, North Carolina and Kenneth Honeycutt (Cindy) of Whiteville, North Carolina; many nieces and nephews, and last but not least her beloved canine daughter, Isabelle.

Linda was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was the co-owner of Bell Supply Company of Tabor City. Linda contributed greatly as a member of the Columbus Regional Healthcare Foundation Board of Directors and was the Gala decorating Chairman for many years. She was a former member of the Dirt Daubers Garden Club and a former member of the Board of Directors of Families First. She also served on the board of Tabor City Committee of 100. For all of her volunteer service in the community and the state, Linda received the Governor’s Award for Outstanding Volunteer Service.

The family will be receiving friends at the home from 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 21, 2018. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM at Myrtle Green Cemetery.
