Leonard Elwood Gore, age 83, of Tabor City, NC, died Friday, October 4, 2019 in his home. Born October 5, 1935 , he was the son of the late Alva Dewey and Annie Laura Caines Gore and the widower of Jewell Winifred Hardee Gore.

He is survived by three sons: Kevin Leonard Gore of Tabor City, NC, Gary Winfred Gore of Tabor City, NC and Sammie Goram Gore of Dyersburgh, TN; two brothers: Royce Gore of Tabor City, NC and Clifford Gore of Tabor City; one sister: Hilda Faye Johnson of Loris, SC; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Monday, October 7, 2019 at 3:00 PM in the Old Zion Wesleyan Church Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the cemetery.
