Leon Pinkney Williamson, age 76, died Wednesday, December 19, 2018 in his home. Born June 26, 1942 in Loris, SC, he was the son of the late Garcie and Maggie Norris Williamson.
He is survived by two daughters: Linda Williamson of North Myrtle Beach, SC and Melissa Allejos of Virginia Beach, VA; one brother: Garcie Williamson Jr. of Tallahassee, FL; four sisters: Jean Buffkin of Tabor City, NC, JoAnne Howard of Georgia, Iris Gale Hairr of Fayetteville, NC and Kathy Simpson of Clinton, NC; five grandchildren and eight great children.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters: Joyce Lovette, Betty Spivey, Shirley Cribb, Roxy Jones, and Lee Kinlaw.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Forest Lawn Baptist Church, Tabor City, NC.
Visitation will be held following the service in the Forest Lawn Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
