Mrs. Jeanette Watts Mills of 1701 Swamp Fox Hwy E., Tabor City, NC, died Wednesday, November 14, 2018 in her home. Born October 5, 1934 in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Watts and Dorothy Phipps Watts and the widow of Waylon Harrelson Mills.
She is survived by one son, Gregory Harrel Mills and wife Connie of Tabor City, NC; one daughter, Cathy Mills Coleman and husband Rick of Tabor City, NC; five grandchildren, Richard Coleman and wife Heather, Jesse Coleman and wife Amber, Christian Coleman, Kaitlynn Mills, Kyle Mills; and four great grandchildren, Sawyer Coleman, Bryson Coleman, Cooper Coleman, and Brody Coleman.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, JoAnn Watts Hudgins.
A special thank you to her caregivers, Wanda Jarrott, Sallie Hamilton, Patricia Bullock and the staff of Community Home Care & Hospice.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 16, 2018 at 11 AM in the New Life Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Spivey Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church.
