Glendale Jolly, age 88, formerly of Clarendon, NC, died Monday, November 18, 2019 in the Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wilmington, NC. Born February 23, 1931 in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late James Arthur Jolly and Mary Stanley Jolly and the widower of Charlotte Ann Boyd Jolly.
He is survived by two daughters: Lisa Norman and husband Marshall of Clarendon, NC, Greta Walker and husband Robbie of Leland, NC; one grandson: Adam Marlowe and wife Meredith of Midland, TX; one brother: Jimmy Jolly and wife Patricia of Clarendon.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one grandson: Michael Marlowe; and siblings: Edna Brown, Annie Pearl Hardee, and Ralph Jolly.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 2 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the Chapel.
