I just found out just now that my favorite principal as a teacher passed three years ago! I cried to see him go when he left Boys and Girls Homes School in Lake Waccamaw. I'll never forget this man and the life he lead as a gentle, godly giant with piercing baby blue eyes. God bless his family! ❤️ Nikki Felder

It was always a pleasure for our family to visit with the Wrights and Days several times a year. The guys always had great conversations and enjoyed reminiscing from years passsed. William was a fine, Christian gentleman. May your precious memories be a comfort during this time.

Mr. Wright was a true friend , always keeping a smile and words of hope when dealing with children at school. Enjoyed working with him over many years. He was one of the good guys in the education of our children. His will be missed but he gave much to many over his career. A southern gentleman always.

We were very saddened to hear that William Wright had gone to be with the Lord. We met Mr.Wright many years ago when he worked with a furniture company in Whiteville and some years later we were once again friends with him as he was Principal at Evergreen Elementary School where we had many grandchildren in attendance. We had many fond memories to talk about often. Ron and I were disappointed when he decided to leave Evergreen but he told us he wanted to be closer home to be with his own children and things that they were involved in. He was not only a faithful man to the Lord he was to his family..Rest high our friend and we will see you again..Our condolences to the family. Our prayers are with you all...

Dianne and family: You all are in our thoughts and prayers. As you feel the reality of your precious loved one's passing from this life, we are asking the Lord to comfort each of you and give you the strength needed to handle the void you are facing today, tomorrow and in the days ahead. May it be of great comfort to know that as William shed his earthly body he was greeted by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ..

Dear Mrs. Wright and Family,
Words seem inadequate to express the sadness I feel about Mr. Wright's passing.
He was a wonderful, sensitive, and honorable man. A true gentleman in every sense of the word who loved his family and his Lord. I will always remember Mr. Wright fondly and hold dear the memories I have of him. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. May God's peace be with you and the family.
