Aunt Vera will be missed by so many.I thank God for each one of the children who stood by her during her illness.We have always been a close family, and it all started with Ma Neal,who Aunt Vera loved and cared for for years. Driving up the drive yesterday, I said- I really miss Ma Neal, but now it will be I will dearly miss Aunt Vera. What a wonderful example of a Christian and God loving woman.Aunt Vera was the last of my Grand Daddy Shelt's immediate family- his sister in law-I hope she and Uncle Roy and Tim are having a reunion,and I will see them again one day.I love all of you and know God will surround all of you with the comfort to carry on just as she would want you to.God Bless You All. Just wanted to let you know I feel your pain and sorrow. Having the loss of my own Mother still fresh in my heart I do understand. We are never prepared to say good-bye.
Thank God you were blessed to have her with you for so many wonderful years. Remember all of the joyful times you shared. Thank God for the love she shared and for the seed she planted that resulted in the kind and wonderful person you grew to be.

I pray God's blessing of comfort to each one of you, her family. I am so thankful that I got to know her and learned to love & admire her so much. She was indeed a great Christian lady. Always dedicated to God, her family, and to her Church. I will always know which seat Mrs. Vera sat in at church, and that it was hardly ever empty. Again, love and comfort to each one of her beautiful family.
